The Wagon Road Ranch is the perfect get-a-way for 4 couples that want to experience the best that Durango has to offer. It combines the best of ranch style atmosphere with fully modern conveniences. It is a magnificant retreat for guests that appreicate a cut above.

• Room Amenities- Featuring some of the most beautiful rooms you will find anywhere, the Wagon Road Ranch is a full feature facility. You can be certain that our rooms reflect all the modern conveniences you would expect, such as, cable television, telephone, CD/radio/clock, plenty of closet space and of course all rooms have full bathroom facilities. • Kitchen Amenities- The kitchen features a convection oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, waffel iron, china and silverware for 12 setting, spices, large refrigerator/freezer and plenty of counter space to work in. See photos on the Kitchen photo gallery page.
• Bring your own Horses - The 35 acre ranch has space for your horses and trailer. Advanced notice is necessary for us to arrange the corral and a reasonable extra fee will be assessed depending on you horse needs.
• Ranch House Amenities - We have lots of extras! There is a pool table, foosball table, 3 fireplaces, spacious Living Room, Breakfast Room, 5 decks (see Decks & Porch), large Dining Room, reading room, Library, Laundry Room, common area stereo system with music options for entertainment and a wet bar.
• No-Smoking facility - The Wagon Road Ranch does not offer indoor accommodations for smokers and is proud to be a no-smoking facility.
• Trout Pond and Picnic area - There are two beautiful trout ponds. One located alongside the lodge and the larger one down in the meadow. The trout are not for catching but are actually more like pets, some approaching 7 pounds in size. Food for feeding is provided for your entertainment.
• Lots of Parking- As a family reunion and wedding retreat, the Wagon Road Ranch has lots of parking for large summer season groups.
• Internet Access - The lodge has a computer but currently no internet access.
• 35 acrea ranch area to explore - The ranch has lots of area to explore in its boundry. There is a beautiful stream that bi-sects the property and hiking and picnic opportunities are located all over the property.
• Billiard room - What to do on a rainy day? Billiard and foosball are fun ways to enjoy inclement weather. The room has a TV and stereo to help fill the gaps.
• Beautiful furnishings - Each room at the Wagon Road Ranch is individually decorated using Arts & Crafts era antique and reproduction furniture. It is lavishly appointed without losing the feeling you are looking for.
• Three Fireplaces - Did we mention 3 fireplaces? Cozy in the winter!
• Cable TV with video library - If you want more than billiards on a rainy or snowy day, just look thru the video library for a good movie.
• Lots of seating for groups and dinner parties - Dinner seating indoors for up to 36 people and during the summer there is room for much more.
